Having worked in the accounting, corporate and in local government sectors for several years, I was looking for a new challenge and founded James Burn & Associates in July 2013. I am determined to help other small businesses understand their numbers and save them time and money. James Burn & Associates was one of the first accounting firms back in 2013 to use Xero as our main accounting platform having previously used MYOB hence are well versed in anything Xero whilst providing high-quality analysis using Spotlight reporting.
Married to James, Lucy has 22 years experience as a Registered Nurse at Gisborne hospital.
In 2016 Lucy completed an Certificate in Bookkeeping through The Career Academy. She has left nursing to assist James as Client Services Manager; managing appointments, liaising with clients, marketing and administrative support.
